HOPELESSLY DEVOTED TO HOLLYWOOD

The question about the most famous person any of us have ever met, inspired me to write this blog. It is really amazing to how obsessed we all are with the "rich and famous". Whether it is another one of those "young Hollywood" sluts who forgot to wear any underwear. Or perhaps yet another baseball player claiming he gained 60 pounds of muscle overnight simply by alot of weight training. It really does'nt matter what the story is. If they are rich and famous we just can't seem to get enough of them. When you really think about it, what the heck is soooo damn fascinating? Have'nt we had our fill of sex addicts? Or over paid TV stars, whom seem to need to spend evey night of their life with multiple hookers (or porn stars). Truly, would it not make more sense to spend our free time pursing matters that actually have a positive affect on our own lives? I guarantee you, not one of these people we all seem to worship, gives a hoot about us. Infact judging by the way most of these famous people live there lives, I don't think they give a hoot about themselves either. Lets face it. If any of these "stars" cared about themselves and their reputations, they would not act (no pun intended) the way they do. As a matter of fact, if they had any self respect for themselves, they would'nt act as they do. Not only that. I don't think it shows any respect or devotion to your family, if you havesay 15 mistresses. It does'nt matter if they're a politician, athelet, actor, rapper, rocker, you name it. They keep getting richer and richer, and behaving worse and worse, and we keep eating it up!  Tell me, why do you think that is? Why are we so honored to meet someone famous? Their just human beings like anyone of us. Sure they can buy and sell us. Sure they can build towers in our cities and put their name proudly atop...they can also fire people at will (and might even have the worlds phoniest looking hair comb). Thats al true. But why do we find them so appealing? Is it the money? Is it just how the look? Why do we care? Why is it we feel honored to get a glimpse of a celebrity in person. If they actually shake our hand we never want to wash that hand again. Well folks, I'm here to tell you, it's time for a reality check. In these troubled times, we all need to devote our energy to finding a solution to not only our own personal problems. But the problems of our neighbor and our neighbors neighbor, and so on and so on. I'll tell you when I would be excited to meet a celebrity... The day they come to give me a million dollars (chump change to them)! Yes, when that day comes I wil jump for joy to meet them. Well, I think tha about says it.
